As an existing National Counties borrower, and subject to satisfactory maintenance of your mortgage,
we are pleased to be able to offer secured loan facilities either for home improvements or capital raising
for another purpose*.
The minimum loan amount that we will consider is £2,000, provided this does not take the
total outstanding borrowing above our maximum loan to value (LTV) limit of 75% (the LTV may vary depending on the product selected).
A further advance can be used to pay for home improvements, such as double glazing or a new kitchen,
or it can be used in order to raise capital for another purpose*, such as school fees or a new car.
Where existing borrowing is on product terms that have interest calculated annually, the further advance product chosen by you
must be on the same basis. Similarly, where existing borrowing is on product terms that have interest calculated monthly,
the further advance product chosen by you must be on the same basis
* If you are a buy to let borrower, loans for less than £25,250 must be for the purpose of property improvement or land purchase.
If your mortgage with us completed before 31 October 2004
Your mortgage is not currently a 'Regulated Mortgage Contract'. If you are interested in applying for a further advance
we will convert your existing mortgage to a 'Regulated Mortgage Contract', this will mean that your mortgage is regulated by
the Financial Conduct Authority. There will be no extra cost to you, besides the usual further advance processing and completion fees.
