Interest

Where existing borrowing is on product terms that have interest calculated annually, the further advance product chosen by you must be on the same basis. Similarly, where existing borrowing is on product terms that have interest calculated monthly, the further advance product chosen by you must be on the same basis.

If your mortgage with us completed before 31 October 2004

Your mortgage is not currently a 'Regulated Mortgage Contract'. If you are interested in applying for a further advance we will convert your existing mortgage to a 'Regulated Mortgage Contract', this will mean that your mortgage is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). There will be no extra cost to you, besides the usual further advance application and product fees.

Representative example:
A further advance of £28,000 payable over 11 years on our monthly variable base rate, currently 4.64%, would require 131 monthly payments of £271.24 and 1 monthly payment of £87.27 plus one initial interest payment of £110.47.

The total amount payable would be £35,955.18 made up of the loan amount plus interest £7,730.18 and an application fee of £125 which includes the valuation fee, and legal fees of £100.

The overall cost for comparison is 4.9% APRC representative.

  • Regular or lump sum overpayments allowed without early repayment charge or restriction.
  • Reduced monthly payments, payment holidays or drawbacks allowed up to the amount of earlier overpayments.
  • Repayment (capital and interest) and interest-only terms available.
  • Application charge of £125 payable with application. Legal costs, minimum £100, will be payable in connection with the arrangement of the loan.
